This is not for an established client with a new pet. This is only a client and pet who have never visited us before.

Wellness exams help us understand your pet’s overall health, including  their physical and behavioral well-being, as well as their unique breed-specific needs. We recommend scheduling at least one wellness exam each year so we can identify changes early and help keep your pet feeling their best. As pets get to their senior years, we do recommend twice a year as changes can happen very fast.

For puppies and kittens (pets under one year old) an exam with our veterinarian is required to complete the vaccine series to ensure your pet is healthy enough to receive the next vaccine. This is not a full exam, if you have any other concerns, please book a wellness exam.  This exam is a body check for the previous vaccine site, weight, blood pressure, and temperature check.

For pets over one year only. A booster may be required after your pet’s initial vaccine, based on the schedule provided at the first visit. 

A technician will check your pet’s weight, temperature, blood pressure, and will briefly check the previous injection site before giving a booster. Any other concerns require a wellness exam with a doctor. Your pet will be taken to the treatment area. You will not meet with the veterinarian during this visit. 

If your pet isn’t feeling well or something just doesn’t seem right, book our Sick Appointment. 

A recheck visit is for pets that have been in within the last two weeks and need to be seen for the same issue. (Some rechecks may be three weeks depending on the issue) If you come in past the time told by our doctor, you will need to book a full exam. 

Recheck from surgery or a dental must be seen when our doctor required you to come back. If you come in past the time told by our doctor, you will need to book a full exam at the full exam price.

We understand that not all pets enjoy car rides, or a pet is ill and the ride can be more stressful than is needed; whatever the reason, we can come to you. The price will depend on your location, the number of pets to be seen, and the reason for the visit. We must have met you in our office at least once prior.

An exam with our doctor is required to receive a Rabies Vaccine - per the law. The rabies vaccine protects dogs and cats against the deadly rabies virus, a serious and potentially fatal disease that also poses a significant health risk to people.

A three year is never available to a pet getting the vaccine for the first time or a pet that was not up to date on previous vaccine. This vaccine protects cats from several common contagious diseases, including Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia. 

This is considered a core or necessary vaccination for all cats. It covers two common upper respiratory viruses as well as panleukopenia which is a severe disease causing vomiting, diarrhea, and often death. If this is the first time your cat is receiving this vaccine, a booster is needed in 3-4 weeks. This must be done during an exam with a doctor. 

Depending on the age of the feline, you may need two to four boosters with a doctor or a tech.

Vaccine protects cats from a contagious viral blood disease that spreads between cats through close contact. A snap combo test is done prior

Protects against several highly contagious and potentially serious diseases, including Distemper, Adenovirus type 2, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. It's commonly referred to as the "Distemper-Parvo" vaccine. 

This is considered a core or necessary vaccination for all dogs. It protects against distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus. If this is the first time your dog is receiving this vaccine, a booster is needed in 3-4 weeks. This must be done during an exam with a doctor.

Known as the Kennel Cough vaccine, this immunization helps protect dogs from contagious respiratory infections. 

This vaccine is advised if your dog interacts with other dogs, attends day care, goes to the groomer or dog park, or is boarded.

Protects against four strains of the bacterial disease Leptospirosis, which can be contracted through contact with contaminated water, soil, or infected animals.

GI parasite screening for twenty parasite species, co-infections, and burden levels, such as hookworms, roundworms, whipworms, tapeworms, Giardia, other protozoa, and coccidia. We no longer offer a basic fecal test as we are seeing a significant increase in parasites. Parasites such as coccidia if not detected early, can kill your pet quickly. 

When you need an answer same day, we can perform the test in house. Help detect urinary tract infections, kidney issues, diabetes, and other health conditions.

Blood test to screen for several serious infections spread by ticks and mosquitoes. Heartworms are prevalent in Florida and can cause severe heart and lung disease. All dogs should be on a monthly heartworm preventative product. We can test your dog as well as provide a preventative for one year. We cannot sell a preventative without a current exam and a negative heartworm test (within one year) 

A blood test that screens for FIV and FeLV, viruses that can weaken a cat’s immune system, as well as heartworm disease, which can cause serious heart and respiratory problems. Mainly tested on outside cats and older cats.

Both FeLV and FIV can be diagnosed with a blood test that detects the FIV antibody and FeLV antigen circulating in the blood. The antibodies of these retroviruses can be passed from infected mothers through nursing and will pass through the kitten in time. Kittens should only be tested if they are above 8 months of age.  

A blood test that checks for common environmental allergens in your pet’s area, based on their ZIP code and regional allergen exposure. Results can help identify triggers for itching, skin irritation, and other allergy symptoms. 

Microchips provide a means of identifying your dog. They are the best method of reclaiming a lost pet. Our microchips are a one time fee and do not require an annual subscription. Be sure to up date your information if you move or change phone numbers to ensure your pet can be traced back to you successfully.   

Helps remove wax, debris, and buildup, keeping your pet’s ears clean and comfortable while helping reduce the risk of ear infections. 

Nail trimming is an essential part of dog grooming and trim nails are one clear sign of your dog’s good health and hygiene. Nails that are not kept trimmed can cause pain to your pet when walking and cause problems with their joints. 

Helps relieve discomfort by expressing the anal glands when they are full or impacted.  If you see your pet scooting on their butt, it is time for a check in before a serious issue occurs such as an anal gland rupture.

A fee for preparing and providing a written prescription when you choose to fill your pet’s medication through a pharmacy other than our partnered pharmacies. 

Our doctor will determine how many views the pet needs (May be up to 3 views). If your pet needs to be sedated, there is an additional fee.

Intended for pets who are unable to safely visit a professional groomer due to temperament, severe matting, or other medical or behavioral concerns. Services include ear cleaning, anal gland expression, nail trimming, bath, and clip/clean-up. (LION CUT ONLY) Drop-off appointment required. Sedation may be required based on your pet’s temperament and needs which is an additional charge.

Echocardiograms are performed by a mobile ultrasound technician and the images are sent to a Board Certified Specialist for interpretation and consultation. Same-day appointments may not be available unless an emergency fee applies. Scheduling is based on the availability of both the pet owner and the mobile technician.

Spaying a dog is a surgery that removes her reproductive organs to prevent pregnancy and provide health benefits.  We only perform spay surgery on dogs one month after the end of their heat cycle. This allows time for the reproductive tract to return to a safer condition for surgery.
